    Coach Lea joins South Florida Water Polo Club with 25 years of experience coaching swimming, with a lifelong dedication to the sport, Lea brings a high level of expertise and knowledge to help develop our young athletes physically at their introductory stages to water polo.

    A standout swimmer during high school, Coach Lea qualified for the state championships all four years setting multiple records at Western High School in her signature stroke, breaststroke.

    While swimming in high school, Coach Lea also played water polo for Coach Michael Goldenberg while he was coaching at Western High School at the time. Lea quickly embraced the team aspects of water polo as well as the new challenge and broader perspective of aquatic competitions.

    Lea also currently coaches at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School on the school’s swim team, specializing in technique mastery and athlete development. Lea possesses a strong focus on developing strong fundamentals and correct technique which will prove supremely important for our younger athletes.

    Lea’s two sons, John and Jake Corbett, both currently compete for South Florida Water Polo Club in their respective age brackets.
