South Florida Star Makes futures national team

Huge congratulations are in order for Christopher Bennett; the star utility and attacker has earned himself a spot on the United States Youth Futures National Team. Chris, a part of our strong class of 2026, has been playing at the club since he was 10 years old, a major part of our summer successes in the past four years he was a key contributor to the club’s 2022 USA Water Polo Dallas Junior Olympics 14u Division championship team, as well as in the 2024 USA Water Polo 16u Division Gold Bracket victory in which he scored a game winning goal both in the semifinal and the final match.

Chris’ attitude, work ethic, natural instinct and his ability to contribute both on the defensive and offensive ends of the pool have pushed him to incredible heights in the sport have cemented him as one of the top players on the east coast, this drew eyes from national coaches throughout the last year, culminating with his selection to the Futures Team.

As a part of the 18u age group Futures Team, Chris will join the team on a training trip to Serbia, competing against local teams as well as several national teams.
